Policies

Please read our policies below before ordering.

Orders

1. We require a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks notice for cakes and 1 week for cupcakes. However, please book in as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.

2. Your quote is valid for 5 days from the date discussed. If no deposit is received then the booking. slot will be released.

3. A deposit is needed at the time of booking to securer all orders. Please see further information below: 

 - Orders under £20 require full payment in advance. 

 - Orders under £50 require a £10 deposit.

 - Orders over £50 require a £20 deposit.

 - Orders over £ 100 require a £40 deposit.

3. If your booking has been made within 14 days notice of the collection date, a deposit or full payment is needed within 24 hours of your booking. 

5. Deposits are non-refundable within 2 weeks of your collection date, as stock will have already been ordered. Deposit refunds requested over two weeks before you collection date will be honoured.

6. We will use other cake designers photos as inspiration but cannot copy them directly. All bakers/decorators have their own style and techniques so details may differ. 

Cake Care

1. When collecting, hold the box flat and from underneath the base (not the sides).

2. Transport in a cool pre air conditioned car, especially in summer months.

3. Place in the passenger foot-well or boots as these are the flattest parts of the car.

4. Buttercream cakes need to be kept in the fridge at all times and lifted out half an hour before use. Buttercream cakes will melt easily in warmer weather.

5. Fondant cakes can be stored in a cool dry place for up to 5 days. 

Allergen & Dietary

* We do not offer specialist catering for allergies.

* All allergens are listed on our allergens sticker which can be found on every order box.

* Please bear in mind that all our products are produced in a kitchen that handles all allergens. 

* Every care is made to ensure there will be no cross contamination with your order.

Collections & Delivery

* Collections are available from my home Leigh Lancashire WN7.

* A collection time will  be arranged when booking your order.

* We take full responsibility of the cakes whilst they are in my possession. However, once the cake has left my care we are no    

   longer responsible for any damage to the cake.
